Embrace the Journey Within
In our quest for spiritual growth and connection to something greater than ourselves, we often find ourselves seeking external rituals, activations, and ceremonies. We try to fast-track our enlightenment, believing that these practices will bring us closer to our higher selves and the divine. However, it's time to reconsider our approach. Ascension is not an outcome that can be achieved through external means; it is a deeply personal and inward journey that unfolds at its own pace.
Activations and ceremonies to drink and meditate are a throw back to our old pagan ways which some feel is how we get closer to our higher selves and fast track their enlightenment.
These prior cultures understood the importance of connecting with the spiritual realm and the interconnectedness of all things. However, as we evolved, some of these practices morphed into attempts to appease angry gods or seek salvation through external acts.
In lives lived long ago, when we believed the gods were angry, we would offer up goats, sheep and each other to appease them.
I'll let you in on a big secret... no one is angry. No one needs to be appeased or located via drinking, chanting or sacrificial offerings.
The Christian church's equivalent is Communion and Baptism. Drink the wine, eat the bread and pray for your salvation, or drop water on a baby or person and that means they are now one of the fold and won't go to hell when they die.
Recently I saw where someone was offering to remove Karma and activate an individual to a higher level.
No one has the power to do that. Karma is not something you can activate away and neither should it be.
Karma is a scared process entered into willingly by each soul to learn from the opposing point of view and to experience the consequences of choices we have made in a previous or current life.
No one can do that for someone else or revoke the Karma.
Again it is the church's equivalent of saying come through us and we will cleanse you of your sins and take you closer to God.
Ascension happens in your own good time, but what is ascension anyway?
We are in such a rush to get there without even knowing where or what 'there' is.
Why is that? Outcomes have been and continue to be, a very 'human thing'.
There must be an outcome and it must happen quickly or something terrible will happen.

No matter what therapies, practices, rituals or ceremonies we participate in, our souls journey will be what we planned and agreed, before we came here and forgot who we really are.
Our mission should we choose to accept it, is to surrender, sink into it, go where it leads us and authentically be ourselves.
How do we do this?
Clear our paths, make our peace, vanquish our demons, learn from the past and travel light, for at the end of your Earthly life, all your bits and pieces will be dispersed to others or the rubbish tip. Your body will be disposed of and what will be left is how your lived, loved, lost and conducted yourself while doing all of that.
So, release your expectations, surrender to the unknown, and embark on the soul's journey with an open heart and a willingness to grow, love, and learn.
